Terms of Service

Broke is a personal finance management application operated by Brainexy, a company based in the United Arab Emirates. By creating an account or subscribing you agree to these Terms in full.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Broke. By registering you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

• The Pro Plan is priced at $3.00 USD per month, billed monthly.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: See Section 5 (Refund Policy) for full details on when refunds are available.
• Payments are processed securely by Ziina. Brainexy does not store card details.

New accounts receive a free trial period as stated at sign-up. At the end of the trial, continued access requires an active subscription. No charge is made during the trial period.

We stand behind our service. If Broke fails to deliver what we promised, you are entitled to a refund under the conditions below.

When you are eligible for a refund:

• Service not delivered: You were charged but could not access Broke due to a technical fault on our side for a significant portion of your billing period (more than 72 continuous hours).
• Feature not working as described: A core feature explicitly advertised on our platform did not function as described at the time of your purchase, and we were unable to fix it within 7 days of you reporting the issue.
• Duplicate charge: You were billed more than once for the same billing period due to a payment processing error.
• Required by law: UAE consumer protection law or other applicable regulation entitles you to a refund.

When refunds do not apply:

• You changed your mind or no longer wish to use the service.
• You did not use Broke during the billing period.
• Issues caused by your own device, internet connection, or third-party integrations outside our control (e.g. your bank's SMS format changing).
• Requests made more than 14 days after the charge date.

How to request a refund: Email us at support@brainexy.com with your registered email address, the charge date, and a brief description of the issue. We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 10 business days.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose under UAE law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the platform.
• Share your account credentials with third parties.

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, Brainexy's total liability for any claim arising from use of Broke shall not exceed the amount you paid in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Broke after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
